MKDP builds commercial opportunities at Rooksley

Planning permission is being sought by developer Tarncourt Ambit Properties Ltd for a new builders’ merchant and trade counter development on land owned by Milton Keynes Development Partnership (MKDP). Located at Rooksley it will be known as Deltic Trade Park

In total the 7 units will be almost 50,000 sq ft ranging in size 3,000 sq ft (372 sq m) up to 24,100 sq ft (2239 sq m).

MKDP chief executive Charles Macdonald says: “By working with Tarncourt Ambit on this important site, we will be bringing new jobs and other commercial opportunities to Milton Keynes.”

Ambit director Chris Reynolds says: “Although Ambit was established over 11 years ago, this is the first time that we have worked in Milton Keynes. We were attracted by the city’s success and its exciting future prospects and we are seeking further opportunities in the town. We hope that construction will start in the summer and that the first occupants will be working at Deltic Trade Park from spring 2018”
