MKDP Agrees deal for 24 New Homes in Monkston

MKDP has exchanged contracts with Abbey New Homes who is planning to build 24 new homes on a 1.9 acre site at Lilleshall Avenue in Monkston, south east of Milton Keynes.

Abbey New Homes’ proposal is for a range of homes from 2 to 5 bedrooms and includes affordable housing. Its scheme, which was designed by NC Architects, has been submitted to Milton Keynes Council’s planners following consultation with MK residents and councillors.

MKDP chief executive Charles Macdonald says: “Following the consultation by Abbey, local people were pleased both with the quality of the development itself and the parking provision, which is extremely important in this area.”

Senior land manager at Abbey New Homes Andy Morehen says: “At Abbey our aim is always to provide beautiful homes attractively priced and we are confident that, subject to planning permission being granted, this new development will definitely meet this objective.”
