MKDP is asking residential developers with an interest in building new homes in Walnut Tree, in the south east of Milton Keynes, to propose their ideas for a site near Walton High School.
The small greenfield site is off Lichfield Down and is 0.892 acres (0.361 Ha) and has been allocated in Milton Keynes’ local plan and in a ‘pre-app’ planning guide issued by Milton Keynes Council for housing. Several ideas on scheme layout and orientation are within the pre-app document.
MKDP chief executive Charles Macdonald says: “Walnut Tree is a thriving, diverse community and a beacon of what a new town offers in terms of housing and community facilities. We are looking for interesting proposals from developers whose ideas will complement and enhance the area.”
The deadline for developers wishing to submit tenders for development of the Lichfield Down site is 2pm on September 15th 2017.
